Why icomm WP Mail SMTP
When mail is sent through the server PHP, some messages fall to spam or are blocked without you knowing. The plugin connects WordPress to a real mail provider (Microsoft 365, Gmail, or other SMTP) so notices, forms, password resets, and orders arrive consistently - with test and monitoring tools.
Settings are built for organizations: OAuth instead of passwords when MFA is on, optional forced From, a send log, mail health alerts when sending or OAuth fails, and a weekly report that summarizes delivery.

Sending providers
- Microsoft 365 / Outlook: secure SMTP connection, including OAuth (XOAUTH2) for users with MFA, and token refresh check from the screen.
- Option to send via Microsoft Graph (per organization settings) instead of classic SMTP.
- Gmail: secure connection; if needed you can use an App Password on accounts with 2FA.
- Other SMTP: SendGrid, Amazon SES, corporate server, or internal relay - including unauthenticated relay when allowed by IP.
Control over sender and content
- Set a fixed From Email and From Name for all site messages.
- Force From (email/name) even if another plugin tries to change it - by choice.
- Default HTML for compatible messages.
Send log and monitoring
- Send log with successes/failures, recipient, subject, and a filtered error excerpt (the full mail body is not stored).
- Log size management: keep up to 500 records (configurable).
- Weekly report by email: success/failure summary from the log (optional, choose a destination address).
- Mail health alerts: if OAuth or sending fails, admins see a notice in WordPress. A periodic check so an expired Microsoft token does not fail silently.
Test and diagnostics

Office 365: why does OAuth not connect?
Confirm Tenant ID, Client ID, and Client Secret are valid, and that Exchange Online has the right permissions (sometimes Authenticated SMTP must be enabled for certain users).

Use an App Password or OAuth per the account policy.
What is stored in the send log?
Useful technical details are stored (status, date, recipient, subject, and an error excerpt). The mail body itself is not stored.
Weekly report
Weekly success/failure summary from the send log - sent to the address you choose.
What are mail health alerts?
If sending or OAuth fails, WordPress shows an admin notice. A periodic check catches an expired Microsoft token before mail stops silently.
